Media Services will offer training Monday, Jan. 9, in the audio-visual systems at Cole Hall.
- Cole 106 SCALE UP classroom: 10 a.m. to noon.
- Cole 100 auditorium: 1 to 3 p.m.
These sessions are open to all faculty and will be conducted by Sound, Inc., the audiovisual subcontractor who built the rooms. NIU Media Services is developing future training opportunities.
Cole 106 SCALE UP classroom
Forty-eight student computers are organized eight to a table with a 65-inch flat panel monitor at one end of each table. The instructor can display any student computer image on any or all of the 65-inch flat panels, as well as through the ceiling-mounted projector, and annotate over any computer image.
Cole 100 auditorium
Similar in operation to some of NIU’s larger auditoriums, this new facility has high definition image sources and projection, including Blu-ray, and also multiple microphones and room lighting controls at the instructor station AV touch panel.
