NIU basketball fans will have a great chance to see the past, present and future of Huskie basketball this weekend as both the men’s and women’s programs host their annual Alumni Day at the Convocation Center.
The Huskie men will host their Alumni Day activities Saturday, Jan. 21, before their 7 p.m. game against Ball State.
The day will feature an alumni game at 4:30 p.m. and the alumni will be announced at halftime of the Huskies-Cardinals contest. Gates open at 3:30 p.m.
Confirmed returning alumni include Bruce Boardman, Steve Determan, Pip Dukes, Bill Finucane, John Kilmartin, Ronald Mintor, Randy Norman, Ben Rand, Chuck Schramm, Al Sewasciuk, Michael Taylor, Walter Thompson, Shawn Thrower, Kevin Whitford and Andre Williams.
The Huskie women will host their Alumni Day as part of their game versus Buffalo at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22. The alumni will be recognized at halftime of the Huskies-Bulls tilt. Gates open at 2 p.m.
Confirmed returners include Devin Bernard, Bianca Brown, Mary Lynn Espenmiller, Kristan Knake, Stephanie Raymond, Debbie Whitman, Keishonda Williamson and Jennifer Youngblood.
Saturday’s game will also feature Kids Day at the Convo and Boy Scout Day. Call (815) 753-1923 to purchase Scout Day offer. Sunday’s game ticket is also valid for NIU gymnastics meet against Western Michigan at 2 p.m. at Victor E. Court.
