Alumni Assn. to host Phoenix music museum luncheon

MusicalInstrumentMuseumEnjoy a Northern Illinois University regional event on Nov. 8 at the Musical Instrument Museum, ranked the No. 1 attraction in Phoenix.

The museum houses instruments from music icons, such as John Lennon, Taylor Swift, Elvis Presley and Carlos Santana. Guests can play instruments and see exhibits representing every country in the world. Exhibits offer an insider’s view of how instruments are made and played with state-of-the-art audio and video.

The event begins with a gourmet lunch buffet at noon and Joseph Matty, executive director of the NIU Alumni Association, will be there to share NIU news.
