The following letter was sent via email regarding the Dec. 11 football game vs. Toledo to faculty and staff of Northern Illinois University from NIU Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier.
Dear NIU Faculty or Staff Member:
We in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics truly appreciate all you do for Northern Illinois University and your continued efforts to put students first. Your hard work and dedication mean a great deal to the university, as does your continued support of Huskie Athletics. Much of the classroom success of our student-athletes is the result of the support they receive from the professors, administrators and staff throughout our campus.
On Tuesday, November 11, we would like to once again honor you with our annual Faculty-Staff Appreciation Night. The NIU football team will host Toledo at 7 p.m. at Huskie Stadium, and the game will be nationally televised on ESPN2. WE WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH TWO (2) COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS TO THIS GAME. Should you need more than two, additional tickets may be purchased at the discounted rate of $14 each.
- To secure your tickets, print (the email sent to all employees) and bring your One Card ID to any of the Huskie Stadium ticket windows – open on game day at 4:00 p.m. at the West Grandstand
Additionally, we will recognize our football senior student-athletes, cheerleaders, and band members. A special fireworks display and other recognitions will take place in honor of Veteran’s Day and we hope this will provide you and your family another great Huskie football experience.
