PAL tutoring
ACCESS Peer Assisted Learning (PAL), NIU’s free tutoring service, is hiring qualified undergraduate students as peer tutors. Prospective tutors must have earned an A or B in courses they want to tutor and be a sophomore, junior or senior. Math and chemistry are high demand courses.
ACCESS PAL provides one-on-one and small group tutoring for students who are interested in regular, weekly tutoring assistance. Tutors are paid a minimum of $8.25 her hour and can work up to 20 hours per week.
