In just one week, the NIU campus and DeKalb will come alive with the sights and sounds of Huskies returning to the campus and community. And, there’s still opportunities for faculty and staff to help welcome the newest members of the NIU family.
Week of Welcome (WOW) and Move-In takes place Wednesday, August 17 through Sunday, August 21. Show your Huskie Pride by signing up to volunteer at this all-hands-on-deck effort to welcome students to campus both with Move In and other WOW events.
Volunteer time slots are available throughout the week and will provide the opportunity to help welcome all new and returning students to campus. Choose your event(s) and time slot(s) you would like to volunteer for using the Combined Volunteer Sign-Up 2022: Residence Hall Move-In and Week of Welcome (WOW) Sign-Up Form. Supervisors are encouraged to offer flexible scheduling to allow staff members to volunteer during this time.
